Who it is for

Businesses with no Google Business Profile yet, and businesses whose profile exists on Google but has never been claimed. If you already run a verified profile, a Google Business Profile audit is the better place to start.

What is included

Before we invoice, we check that your business is eligible under Google’s rules and look for any existing or duplicate listing. Then we create your profile or request access to the unclaimed one. You are always the primary owner, and Local Heights is added as a Manager.

We prepare you for whichever verification method Google offers. If Google asks for video verification and you are in Cape Town or Durban, we can visit once during business hours to film it with you.

The first build covers your business name exactly as you trade, your primary category and up to three secondary categories, a description, opening hours, special hours for the public holidays left this year, up to ten services or products, attributes, website and WhatsApp links, and service areas where they apply. We add your logo, a cover photo, up to ten of your own photos and an opening Google post, and give you your Google review link, ready to share.

You see the draft before it goes live and get one round of changes, then a short handover note of what was set up.

What it does not cover

Google decides the verification method and how long checks take, and we can’t speed that up. Suspended profiles, reinstatement appeals and ownership disputes, photo shoots (see Photo Lift), websites and ads are outside Launch, and each extra location is its own Launch. Like all our work, it comes with no promise of rankings or review counts.

After launch

A new profile needs looking after: reviews to answer, hours to keep right and fresh photos. Google Business Profile management (Heights Care) does that every month, month to month. Launch is included when you choose Care Standard or Plus on a plan of 3 full paid months.

How much does Google Business Profile setup cost?

Heights Launch is R690 once-off for one new or unclaimed profile. It is included when you choose Care Standard or Plus on a plan of 3 full paid months. On its own, or with Care Essential, Launch is R690.

What if I leave Care within the 3 full paid months?

If you leave Care, or move down to Essential, within the 3 full paid months, the R690 Launch fee becomes payable. After that, Heights Care is month to month, with 30 days’ notice.

Can I get a refund on Heights Launch?

If you cancel before we start the build, we refund the full R690. If our eligibility check missed a problem, we also refund the full R690. Otherwise, once the build has started, Launch is not refundable.

Who owns the profile you set up?

You do. You are always the primary owner, and Local Heights is added as a Manager so we can do the work. If you leave, we remove ourselves.

How long does Google verification take?

Google chooses the verification method and the timing, and some checks take longer than others. We prepare you for the method Google offers and help you through it, but we can’t speed Google up.

I already have a verified profile. Is Launch for me?

No. Launch builds a new or unclaimed profile. For a profile you already run, start with a Heights Audit, and if we already look after your profile, help with verification and ownership problems is included in our packages.

Can you set up more than one location?

Yes. Each location is its own Heights Launch.
