Questions about the plate
How does it stick, and on what?
It has an adhesive back. Stick it on a smooth, clean, dry surface like painted wall, glass, tile or a counter front.
Can it go on a glass door?
Yes. Stick it at a height people can reach, so they can tap the plate itself or scan the QR code.
What if a customer's phone has no NFC?
They scan the printed QR code with their camera instead. It opens the same review page.
Can you change the link?
Yes. Every chip is rewritable and locked with a password, so a stranger can't overwrite it but we can. If your link changes, WhatsApp us on 075 330 9812 and we'll sort it out.
Is there a monthly fee?
No. You pay once and it's yours. There's no app, account or subscription, and the chip holds your own link, not a link through our servers.
How long does delivery take?
Dropped at The Courier Guy within 1 working day of payment and your confirmed link. From there it takes 2 to 3 working days to main centres, up to 5 working days regionally, to a Courier Guy locker or your door, anywhere in South Africa. Delivery is included on orders from R499. Under R499: R65 to a Courier Guy locker or R95 to your door.
Can I buy it unprogrammed and set it up myself?
