Where it works best
Customers tap with an NFC phone or scan the printed QR code, so older phones work too. It suits a busy till, a salon station or a reception desk, where a larger stand is easy to spot from a step or two away.

Questions about the stand
White or black, which suits my counter?
The small white stand is neat on a small counter or a cafe table. The medium black one is larger, so it stands out more on a busy till or a reception desk. Both have the same tap chip and QR code.
Does it work on iPhone?
Yes. iPhone XS and newer read the chip with a tap while the screen is on. Older iPhones (7 to X) need the NFC reader from Control Centre. On Android, NFC needs to be switched on, usually from quick settings. No app needed.
What if a customer's phone has no NFC?
They scan the printed QR code with their camera instead. It opens the same Google review page.
Do I need to give you my Google login?
No. We only need your review link. Paste it at checkout, or tick "help me find it" and we find it for you, then we confirm it with you in writing before we program anything.
Can you change the link later?
Yes. Every chip is rewritable and locked with a password, so a stranger can't overwrite it but we can. If your link changes, WhatsApp us on 075 330 9812 and we'll sort it out.
Can I use it for Instagram instead?

How long does delivery take?
Dropped at The Courier Guy within 1 working day of payment and your confirmed link. From there it takes 2 to 3 working days to main centres, up to 5 working days regionally, to a Courier Guy locker or your door, anywhere in South Africa. Delivery is included on orders from R499. Under R499: R65 to a Courier Guy locker or R95 to your door.
Is there a monthly fee?
No. You pay once and it's yours. There's no app, account or subscription, and the chip holds your own link, not a link through our servers.
Can I buy it unprogrammed and set it up myself?
Yes. Pick Unprogrammed under Setup, at the same price. The NFC chip comes blank and there's no printed QR code, so you write your own link to it with an NFC app, and we skip the link step at checkout. Changed your mind? WhatsApp us on 075 330 9812 and we'll set it up at no extra cost.
